This partially fermented Oolong comes from the southern Chinese province of Fujian. It has a tightly rolled, greenish-brown leaf, a jade-green cup color and a full-bodied flavor with a natural fruity sweetness. Incidentally, Ti Kuan Yin means something like 'Iron Goddess of Mercy'. According to a legend, a poor farmer was rewarded with a tea plant by the goddess because he took special care of her temple and her iron statue inside.
